College Library

The Saskatoon Theological Union member libraries have combined resources to operate as a unified system in a shared space, thus creating the Saskatoon Theological Union Library.

The Saskatoon Theological Union (STU) partners—St. Andrew’s College, Lutheran Theological Seminary, and College of Emmanuel & St. Chad—along with Horizon College & Seminary, manage their library collections through a shared Online Library Catalog. This provides students and faculty from all the colleges, as well as public users, access to over 120,000 items covering a wide range of theological topics. Both libraries also share membership in the Digital Theological Library, securing a robust collection of online resources.

All currently registered STU students, faculty, and staff as well as members of the public are eligible to borrow material from the STU library consortium.

Access to the University of Saskatchewan Library is available to STU students, faculty, and staff. The U of S Library has a strong theological collection within its 3,500,000 volumes, plus general and subject-specific databases. STU students, faculty and staff who are travelling may also request in-person access to the library collections of almost all Canadian academic libraries and many academic libraries in the United States.
